This Christmas (12/25), we will be releasing a project from the Minneapolis-based electronic/noise/ambient producer Makr (Mark McGee). Curse The Day That Birthed The Bastard is a 4 piece collection of ambient works documenting different stages in Makr's life.

Look for Curse The Day That Birthed The Bastard on Christmas morning. The perfect soundtrack for religious ritual, gluttonous consumption, or debilitating holiday dread.

Mark McGee, also known by his performance name, MAKR, is a Renaissance man. A Twin Cities transplant by way of Richmond, Virginia, McGee is a key creative contributor to myriad musical projects, among them Father You See Queen, RONiiA, and Marijuana Deathsquads. His collaborations have extended beyond music to encompass artists of many different media. (Walker Art Center)
