Lewis is the solo project from founding member of Moonstone Continuum, Seth Rosetter. Rich with lush electronic pulses, breezy guitar work, and sweeping waves of soundscape textures, this collection of songs is a remarkable debut. With nine tracks that run just over one-half hour in total, the album is an engaging adventure that grips the listener from start to finish. There are moments of pure bliss that channel Brian Eno in a helicopter soaring over a diamond encrusted ocean at sunset. There are moments of fury that feel like sizzling in an industrialized inferno of molten oscillators. Finally, as the album comes to a close, the listener is taken on a journey (pardon the pun) of epic modern-prog, laced with clever arpeggios and percussive spurts that eventually dissolve into just a few synth tones that linger and flutter while you toggle for the repeat button.
